Memorial service for Bobbette Lynn Givens will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2020 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Bobbette Lynn Givens died May 21, 2020 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 66.  She was born April 26, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to John Edward Devers, Sr. and Dorothy Mattie (Bryson) Devers.  She grew up in Louisville and attended Durrett High School.  She married Edward Franklin Givens on April 21, 1976 in Dillon, South Carolina.  She was a homemaker and followed her husband with his military career, moving to Lawton in June of 1991.

Bobbette loved researching genealogy.  She was known as Momma to her children and Mamaw to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; children, Edward Givens, Jr. and wife Michelle, Fletcher, Oklahoma, Phillip Waylon Givens, Lawton, Carolyn Day, Lawton, David J. Givens and wife Jamie, Lawton and James Edward Givens and wife Layla, North Carolina; 16 grandchildren Christina, Lauren, Madison, Matthew, Inara, Matthew, Leila, Alex, Joseph, Abagail, Noah, Cory Gavin, Alivia, Kaydance, Nathan and Ryan; one great grandson, Benjamin; a brother, John Edward Devers, Jr., Louisville, Kentucky; a sister, Helen Warren, Louisville, Kentucky; and a sister-in-law, Gearldine Devers, Louisville, Kentucky.

Her parents, sisters, Elaine McMahan, Linda Devers and Linda Day Devers and a brother, Dennis Devers, preceded her in death.
