Bevin Renee Smith died Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. She was born May 30, 1964, in Groom, Texas, to Bill and Barbara (Bach) Dalton.

Seeking a more meaningful and less stressful path, she later completed specialized training in special education and joined Lawton Public Schools, where she served in the Special Education Department at MacArthur High School. Even as her health declined, she remained dedicated to her students and colleagues, continuing her work as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA). Bevin loved to host and enjoyed cooking. She also enjoyed traveling and camping.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Smith, of the home; her son, Zane Smith, Lawton; her daughter and son-in-law, Logan and Noor Algallaf, Edmond, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Zara Algallaf; her brother, Bryan Dalton, Tulsa, Oklahoma; her sister, Beverly Dalton, Lawton; her sister-in-law, Sheena Jackson and husband Dan, Wayne, Oklahoma; and brothers-in-law, Vincent Smith, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jimbo Smith, Cache, Oklahoma; as well as several nieces and nephews.
