Funeral service for Beverly Jo Spencer will be at 11:00 am Saturday, August 15, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jace Cloud, her Grandson of Edmond, OK and Rev. Charles Pettigrew, Pastor of Liberty Heights Christian Church, Lawton officiating. Burial will be Monday, August 17 at 11:00 am in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK. The family will greet friends Friday evening August 14, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home. Beverly Jo Spencer, 81, of Lawton passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in Lawton. She was born February 8, 1934 in Tulsa, OK to Charles William and Mary Olive (Alderson) Hunt. She married John W. "Jack" Spencer on April 5, 1968 in Wichita Falls, TX. Beverly was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was active as a PTA Mom while her daughters attended John Adams Elementary, was a member of the Four Seasons Dance Club in Lawton with her husband, and loved to travel with her husband, especially in the Caribbean. She loved to fish, had a special love for animals and was a longtime member of Liberty Heights Christian Church. She is survived by her husband Dr. Jack Spencer of the home, four daughters, Sherry Faust and husband David of The Colony, TX, Vickie Cloud and husband Jon of Lawton, OK, Robyn Smith and husband Mike of Keen Mountain, VA, Patti Colley and husband Tom of Oklahoma City, OK, six grandchildren and their spouses, Jimmy Smith and wife Jessica of Bristol, TN, Heather Donaho and husband Clayton of Skiatook, OK, Micah Garza and husband Gregory of Lawton, OK, Tiffany Hargett of Lawton, OK, Jace Cloud and wife Hannah of Edmond, OK, Jeremy Faust and wife Stacy of McKinney, TX, nine great grandchildren and two nephews, Charles Grooms of Lawton and Randall Grooms of Edmond, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Janice Leigh Grooms and her very special sister-in-law and friend, Peggy Lou Spencer.
