Funeral service for Beverly Kilmer will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Northwest Church of Christ with Garrett Bookout, minister officiating. Burial will follow in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Beverly Kilmer, age 96, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Lawton. She was born September 1, 1919 in Carter County, Oklahoma to Daniel Hamilton and Dora Lee (Henderson) O'Dell. She married Lonnie L. Kilmer on September 14, 1940 in Walters. He died July 15, 1981. Mrs. Kilmer was a mother to all. She made sure any young soldier who needed a family was welcome in her home. She never met anyone who she did not ask to come to church with her. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Kilmer Manilla and her husband Anthony C., Lawton, daughter-in-law, Sharon Kilmer, Utah, two granddaughters, Colyn Kilmer, Salt Lake City, Utah and Lindsay Bailey and her husband, Bryan, Warrington, Pennsylvania, a great grandson, Eli Bailey and great granddaughter, Zoe Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, Billy Ray Kilmer, two brothers and a sister.
