Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Betty C. Rogers passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in Lawton at the age of 86. She was born July 16, 1939, in Lawton to Rev. F.M. and Mary (Hensley) Pillow.
Betty was raised in Lawton and attended Lawton Public Schools, later studying at Vo-Tech, where she was honored as "Student of the Year." She continued her education at Cameron College. On April 22, 1954, she married the love of her life, Lee R. Rogers, in Wichita Falls. Together they were blessed with four beautiful children: Vickie Deatherage, Rick Rogers, Tina Standridge, and Cary Rogers.
Music was a lifelong calling for Betty. Having studied piano from an early age, she began serving as a church pianist in the congregations her father pastored and went on to share her musical gifts with many churches throughout the surrounding area. Following her marriage, she and Lee faithfully served side by side for 65 years as music and praise leaders. In addition, Betty devoted 55 years to teaching piano lessons.
Betty will be remembered for her service, dedication and faith for her Lord, God and Savior. Her life's mission was to share the message of Jesus with others. She found great joy in teaching the Adult Women's Sunday School Class at Northside Baptist Church. Beyond her ministry, Betty enjoyed sewing and detailed decorative painting.
She is survived by her husband, Lee R. Rogers; her children, Vickie Deatherage (Jim), Rick Rogers and Tina Standridge (Jeff); grandchildren, April Dominowski (Ezra), Lisa Lemons, Tommy Lemons (Brett), Angela Walczak (Greg), Melissa Amarante' Rogers (Miky), Steve Ferrari (Jessica), Jessica Beckmann (Nick), Joshua Rogers, John Lemons, Eric Rogers, Mason Rogers and Rhiannon Biggs; and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Cary Rogers, her daughter-in-law, Regenia Rogers, her granddaughter, Kacee Rogers, and her brother, Robert Pillow.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate and devoted care shown to Betty by her caregiver, Kim McAnally, and the dedicated staff of Refuge Hospice.
