Funeral service for Betty D. Mounts will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sterling Cemetery. Betty D. Mounts, age 78, died Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Lawton. She was born August 23, 1937 in Sterling, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Thelma (Hale) Wilson. She grew up in Sterling and was a graduate of Sterling High School. She was primarily a homemaker but had worked at a factory in Alabama, for Circle K in California and as a nurses and dietary aide at Comanche County Memorial Hospital. She married Shelby T. "Larry" Mounts on April 20, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2007. Betty served as a caregiver for her parents for many years and enjoyed sewing and working word search puzzles. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy L. Mounts, Lawton; two sons, Rick Moore and Chuck Moore and wife Kim, all of Sterling; five grandchildren and their spouses, Katherine and Thomas Graham, Kendra and Brad Geiger, Chris and Jackie Moore, Leah and Chad Pinkston and Tamra Haggerty; 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Deason and husband Dan, Henrietta, Texas. Her parents and a brother, Earl Wilson, preceded her in death.
