Age 81, Lawton - Services will be 11:30 AM Monday at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Don Barnes, officiating. Mrs. Jones died Friday at her home. Burial will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. She was born August 29, 1926 in Enid, Oklahoma to Leland C. and Tressie M. (Mosher) Baxter. She married LCDR (Ret) Walter M. Jones on May 27, 1945 in Enid. He died June 1, 2006 in Lawton. She was a family tax service representative for the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1981 after 30 years of service. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and James Pepper of Lawton; a grandson, Chris Pepper of Wichita, Kansas; and a granddaughter, Sabrina Pepper and her fiancé Bill Hedrick of Oklahoma City.
