Funeral service for Betty E. Johnson will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, May 5, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Private family burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Betty E. Johnson, age 90, of Lawton, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 in Lawton.  She was born July 2, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to William and Laura (Snipes) Jackson.  She married Freeman Johnson in Ohio.  He died October 25, 2013.  Mrs. Johnson was a longtime member of Grant Chapel AME Church where she sang in the choir.

She is survived by three children, Wayne L. Johnson, Lawton, Marsha L. Johnson, Arlington, Texas and Keith F. Johnson and his wife Debbie, Plano, Texas, four grandchildren, Eddeana Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Philip Johnson and Samuel Johnson, six great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
