Age 88, Wichita Falls, Texas - Funeral services will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, April 9, 2010 at Lawton Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles W. King, pastor officiating. Mrs. Vann died Monday, April 5, 2010 in Wichita Falls. Burial will be at 3:00 PM Friday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Bernice was born to Zora B. and Dora E. (Duncan) Justice in Pooleville, Oklahoma on November 8, 1921. She married Louis F. Vann on March 18, 1951 in Ardmore. He died June 30, 2007. Mrs. Vann worked as a legal secretary, real estate agent, executive secretary and homemaker. She was a longtime member of Lawton Heights United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Warren R. and Evelyn Vann and Louis F., Jr. and Pamela Vann, grandchildren, Warren R. Vann, II and his wife Sylvia, Michael L. Vann and his wife Lori, John Michael Vann and Jessica Carol Vann, great grandchildren, Colby Ann Vann, Warren R. (Trey) Vann, III, Emily Grace Vann, Victoria Elizabeth Vann and Julian James Vann, a great great grandchild, Madison L. Vann, a sister, Mildred L. Wisdom and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins She is preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Nan Chancellor-Vann, her parents, a sister, Jessie F. Eubanks, brothers, Cleave C.
