Barbara Mae Dallon Rhea died Monday, October 6, 2025 in Moore, Oklahoma at the age of 89. She was born March 8, 1936 to parents LTC Bill and Ethel Dallon in Evanston, Illinois. Being in a military family meant they were stationed at various duty stations during World War II but their home base always returned to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. She was always proud of the fact that finally she was able to learn to take up golf and continued playing every chance she could with a 9 hole group at Fort Sam Houston until her move to Moore, Oklahoma in 2018. Barbara was a very talented seamstress and gave her talent freely to her girls as they where growing up and then to several historical organizations in San Antonio prior to her move back to Oklahoma to be closer to family.
