Funeral service for Barbara Ann Carmichael will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at First Baptist East with Rev. Doug Passmore officiating.

Burial will follow at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma under the direction of Becker-Rabon funeral home.

The family will greet friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Barbara Ann Carmichael, age 72, of Cache, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family.  Barbara was born August 18, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York to James and Anne Dempsey.  Barbara lived in New York until the age of twenty-seven.  She then moved with her family to Huachuca City, Arizona.

On May 6, 1974 Barbara married the love of her live, Kiden E. (Ed) Carmichael.  Together they raised their four children.  Ed was in the Army and in 1977 they were stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where they settled down together until Ed's passing in 1996.

Barbara was a loving wife to her husband Ed, a wonderful mother to her four children and a sweet grandma to her grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ed and her parents.

She left behind four children; John Wheeler, Joe Wheeler, Anne Ramsey and Barbara Altic, a daughter-in-law; Kathy Wheeler, two sons-in-law; Michael Ramsey and Ernie Altic, grandchildren; Destina, Kelli, Meagan, Daniel, Kim, Rebekah, Heather, Kolton, Joshua, Brittnee, Niccoll, Kiden, Ryan and Rachel, a brother; James Dempsey, sister-in-law; Mary Ann, cousin; Renee Lombardi along with many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Barbara will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
