Audelle Lee Williams Owen was born August 21, 1934, in Caddo County and passed away on April 18, 2025 at her home in Cache. She was adopted by Harold (Coon) Williams and his wife, Edna (King) Williams. She lived in Caddo County and attended school in Cyril in first grade. Then she moved to Fletcher in 1940 and attended Fletcher schools, where she graduated in 1952.

Audelle married Donald Joyce Owen in 1953. They lived in Lawton, Chickasha, Arapaho, Clinton and Shawnee before returning to Lawton in 1969. Audelle was also a charter member of the Redbud Club of Chickasha, the Lawton Porcelain Art Club, the Oklahoma Teachers Organization, the International Porcelain Artists & Teachers and the World Organization of China Painters. She wrote four books and many studies on techniques of china painting. Many of her porcelain works were published in magazines worldwide.

Audelle was a member of Chapter BY PEO Sisterhood and taught Bible class at First Baptist Church in Lawton.
