Age 34, Lawton - Ashley went home to be with her King and lover of her soul, The Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, September 26, 2008. She was the beloved mother of Kane Williams Merrifield and beloved daughter of Denny and Mary Lou Merrifield. Her "Home Going Celebration" will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, September 30 in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Elkouri of Word Alive Ministries officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery. She was born on April 16, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky. She attended high school in Louisville and received an Associates degree in Florida. She was currently employed at American Classifieds as a graphic artist. Survivors include her son of the home; her parents of Lawton; 4 siblings, Denny Merrifield, Jr. and his wife Toni of Louisville, Kentucky, Chad Merrifield and his wife Melissa, Holly Merrifield Flakes and her husband Richard, and Eric Merrifield all of Lawton; her maternal grandfather, Herschel Marion Haynie and his wife Gerri; a niece, Paige Merrifield; a great nephew, William Martez Merrifield; and numerous aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother and her paternal grandparents.
