Anna P. Stroup, 89, of Anthem, Arizona passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at her youngest daughter's residence in Anthem. She was born November 21, 1935 in Kleinsemlowitz-Bischofteinitz, Czech Republic to Georg and Margaretha (Strecker) Pechtl.

Services for Anna P. Stroup are currently pending with Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Anna was cared for and resided with her youngest daughter Benita Gomolka and husband, Greg for the past seven years. Although we will no longer be blessed with her physical presence, her beautiful spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

Anna was an extremely proud and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and there wasn't a thing she wouldn't do for her family. She was notoriously frugal with herself, but graciously generous with her family. Her loving, yet feisty and opinionated personality was one of a kind, and her bright, beautiful smile would light up any room. Anna had a young-at-heart quality, was a fabulous storyteller, enjoyed a good joke and loved old movies.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, CSM (Retired) Bernis L. Stroup, father, Georg Pechtl, mother, Margaretha Pechtl, brother, Georg Pechtl, great granddaughter, Persephone, and namesake great granddaughter, Hope Anna-Elizabeth.

Anna's memory lives on with her two daughters, Diana Baker (husband Justin) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Benita Gomolka (husband Greg) of Anthem, Arizona. She will forever be remembered and cherished by her four grandchildren, Tara (husband Jason), Justina, Timothy (wife Holly) and Loren Scott (wife Monica), along with great grandchildren, Kannon, Ethne, Easla, Gracelyn and Paisley.

May we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all we do.
