Funeral services for Anna W. Bonilla are scheduled for Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 2:00p.m. in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be 1:00p.m. Monday November 2, 2020 in Post Cemetery Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Family will greet friends on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 6-8p.m. at the funeral home.

Anna Wastl Bonilla, 88, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home in Lawton.

Anna Wastl Bonilla, was born on July 27, 1932 in Annatahl, Czechoslovakia to her parents Albine and Vincenz Wastl. At 14, her family was forced out of Czechoslovakia and sent to a refugee camp in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany, where they eventually settled. Anna met the love of her life, Joe Angel Bonilla in 1954 while he was stationed there serving in the U.S. Army. They married on July 14, 1956. She became a very proud naturalized citizen of the United States of America on September 29, 1961. Anna spent the rest of Joe's Army career as a loving mother and home maker. She and Joe had four daughters, Anita, Margarita, Joanne and Kathleen.

She went to work for the Cosmetic Specialty Lab in 1980 assembling bottles of aloe vera. When people would ask her what her job was, she loved to tell them she "spent all day squeezing and screwin'." She worked there for 15 years. Anna loved to play bingo, tell stories, and cheat her way through a game of rummy.

She is survived by all four of her children, Anita and husband Ralf Ferranninni, Margarita Anderson, Joanne and husband Harold Turner, Kathleen and husband Jesse Garcia, and her sister Bruni, 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren with two on the way.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister Liesl and Gehrhart Cuikpe, her grandchild Charles Turner, and her son-in-law Lowell Anderson.
