Private family graveside for Anita Anni Foss will be held in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma with Chaplain (MAJ) Derek Pottinger, Fort Sill, Oklahoma officiating.

Interment will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Anita Anni Foss, 86, of Mesquite, Texas passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at her home in Mesquite, Texas.  She was born November 4, 1932 in Leipzig, Germany to Paul and Hildegard (Schertz) Gottschald.  She married CSM (Retired) Ned George Foss, Jr. on August 24, 1955 in Augsburg, Germany.  He passed away January 31, 1999.  Anita was a true military wife who loved her husband, children and grandchildren.  She loved dancing and was an avid runner.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her three daughters; Janet Foss of Norman, Oklahoma, Tina Foss of Dallas, Texas, Brigitte Holzheu of Bavaria, Germany, her two sons; Arthur Foss and Gregory Foss both of Lawton, her brother Hans Gottschald of Gundelfingen, Germany and two grandchildren; Clayton Foss of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sina Holzheu of London, England.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Renata Gottschald and her brother Gunther Gottschald.
