Funeral Mass for Andrew M. Rodiger, 86 Sterling, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014, in the Assumption Catholic Church, Duncan, with Father Billy Lewis, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ada, Oklahoma, and Father Peter Jandaczek, Pastor of Assumption Catholic Church, officiating. Mr. Rodiger died Monday, October 13 in Oklahoma City. Burial will be in the Sterling Catholic Cemetery under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Fletcher. A wake is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Andrew was born August 5, 1928 in Sterling to Anton and Clara (Hendricks) Rodiger. He was a farmer in the Sterling area most of his life. He married Barbara Ann Conway on April 12, 1951 in Sterling. She died September 5, 1998. Andrew was a devout Catholic. He was hard working and selfless. His life was an example how a person should live their life. He is survived by his children, Carolyn and husband Ken Ehli of Moore, Oklahoma, Ann Ross of Rush Springs, Richard Rodiger of Rush Springs, Andy Rodiger, Jr. of Missouri, Roxanna and husband Greg Lindesmith of Comanche and Anthony and wife Karla Rodiger of Marlow; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. His parents; a grandchild, Brittany Lindesmith; three sisters, Anna Marie Legako, Mary Rodiger and Agnes Seibold; and a brother, Frank Rodiger preceded him in death.
