Funeral for Alice Myrtle Thurman, 89, Lawton will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Teel, pastor of Cameron Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Thurman died Monday, October 27, 2014 in Lawton. Burial will be in Walters Cemetery. She was born February 2, 1925 in Bonham, Texas to William Alvin and Mamie (Myrtle (Cotham) Howell. She married Buster Thurman. He died in March 1995. Mrs. Thurman worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a member of Cameron Baptist Church. Survivors include four nieces, Arlene Cudd, Carol Thurman, Marilyn Thurman and Vivian Thurman, nephew, David Thurman, two sisters-in-law, Geneva Cudd and Vivian Thurman and friends, James and Diane Jordan, Dee Ann Patterson and Faye Patterson.
