Alexa Danielle Flores, 19, of Lawton, Oklahoma gained her angel wings on October 29, 2021 at her home in Lawton.
Alexa was born on November 6, 2001 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Irving and Carmen (Belen) Flores. Alexa was a strong, resilient, courageous, and loving young lady that always warmed the hearts of those she came in contact with. She brought so much joy into the world and was the light in our lives.
She was honored as a graduate of Lawton MacArthur High School in 2021 and enjoyed attending school and spending time with her classmates. Her greatest joys were her family whom she loved and was loved dearly.
Alexa possessed a "Fighting Spirit" and constantly reminded us that With God all things are possible, Matthew 19:26.
Alexa will live forever in our hearts, and we will continue to honor her with the same courage she possessed every day.
You never said I'm leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home." Author Unknown.
Alexa is survived by her parents; Irving and Carmen, four brothers; Kareem Charles, Curien Flores, Zachariah Flores and Bryson Flores, a sister, Naysha Flores, her grandparents, Carlos and Maria Belen and Benita Melendez.
