Age 20, Lawton - Services will be 11:30 AM Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Heung Ki Lee, Pastor, and Chaplain Soung Jun Bang, Korean Full Gospel Church, officiating. Mr. McGowen died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in Colorado. Burial will be in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. He was born on January 9, 1988 in Seoul, Korea to David and Sukcha (Chon) McGowen. He graduated from the Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur and was active in football and the production of the yearbook. Survivors include his parents of the home; a brother, Mitchell McGowen, of the home; a sister, Elizabeth McGowen, of the home; his paternal grandparents, Martin and Marilyn McGowen of Ortonville, Michigan; his maternal grandparents, Chon Chae Kwan and Kim Kyaung Sook, of Seoul, Korea; and numerous other family and friends.
