Funeral service for Jack W. Grant, 80, Lawton, will be at 1:30 pm Friday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with Rev. David McCracken, Pastor of New Life Assembly of God, Cache, OK officiating.
Mr. Grant died Tuesday in Duncan, Oklahoma.
Entombment will be in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Jack was born March 9, 1932 in Apache, Oklahoma to Homer R. and Rose Lee (Turnbull) Grant. He married Mary L. Donnell on January 23, 1954 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He owned and operated Electro-Craft, Inc., electrical contractors for 33 years. He retired in 2004. Jack was a member of the I.B.E.W. # 1141, and the N.E.C.A. Jack enjoyed fishing, BBQ, and was a member of the Lawton Country Club, where he was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife Mary of the home, two sons, Gary Grant of Lawton, OK, Charles Grant of Red River, NM, two grandchildren, Hudson Grant of Lawton, OK, and Mistye Hawkins and husband Kenn of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, Keegan, Dustye, Dakota and Gia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Jackye Sanders and 3 brothers, George, Neil and Duane.
