Age 65, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Nick Lovenburg, Pastor, and Ralph Hinman, Elder, both of Freedom Christian Fellowship, officiating.
Sergeant Hainline died Sunday at a local hospital.
Burial with full military honors will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill.
He was born August 21, 1944 in Lincoln, Illinois to Edgar and Hazel (Whileman) Hainline. Danny attended school in Springfield, Illinois and joined the Army after his graduation. He served with great pride and distinction. He served one tour of duty in Vietnam and another in Korea. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal with First Oak Leaf Cluster, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm, Two Overseas Service Bars, and the Good Conduct Medal Sixth Award. After his military retirement he worked for Kelly-Moore Paint and Home Depot. Danny was a member of Freedom Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed drawing, reading, fishing, camping, cooking and watching Sci-Fi movies. He married Ingrid Reis on August 23, 1971 in Council Grove, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife of the home; four children, Nick Lovenburg and his wife Cindy of Lawton, Tim Lovenburg and his wife Georgia of Carnegie, Angel Gonzalez and his wife Tammy of Fort Worth and Kathy Caraveo of El Paso; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie, Cody, Holly, Joshua, Noah, Michael and Hannah; five great grandchildren; a brother, Nelson Hainline and his wife Chris of Springfield, Illinois; and a sister, Mary.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
