Biography

Age 70, Lawton - Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Joseph R. Ross, Pastor, officiating.
Mr. Kirchoffner died Wednesday in a Lawton hospital.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
He was born May 1, 1939 in Devils Lake, North Dakota to Lucas and Hazel (Vanderlin) Kirchoffner. Frank was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Devils Lake. After serving in the Navy, he attended North Dakota State University. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Panhandle State University at Goodwell, Oklahoma and a Master’s Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
He was an educator for 40 years as a Teacher, Coach, Athletic Director and Superintendent in Oklahoma and Texas. After his retirement, he taught Physical Education at St. Mary’s Elementary School in Lawton. This was a job he loved with all his heart.
He married Mary Janice Boren on April 11, 1968 in Hereford, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Ryan Breeze of Lawton; a sister and her husband, Aleda and Bob Ahlgren of Eagle, Colorado; 3 brothers and their wives, Tom and Connie Kirchoffner and Terry and Estelle Kirchoffner all of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Donald and Elaine Kirchoffner of Broomfield, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
